The Real Divide

The Real Divide is a Concordia Discors project that maps polarization beyond policy detail. Each week, we analyze a contentious issue—immigration, taxes, speech, policing—through the lens of philosophy, psychology, and political analysis. Our tool, the Identity-Framework Matrix, reveals the hidden grammar of debate: frames, moral intuitions, and identity logics that make each side coherent to itself and incomprehensible to others. The aim is not to erase disagreement but to foster recognition.
